Air changes
Wind begins to blow
Leaves fall from the trees
And plants change colors
Suddenly the air gets thinner
It get's so cold
Light fluffy flakes begin to fall
Now instead of leaves
It covers the ground
And the sky
A beautiful blanket of white
Covers the earth
As it lay down to sleep
The children bundle up
As they come out to play
Building snow men and angels
Learning team work
Winter is so cold
But the fire is so warm
Come in and warm up
Their cheaks brightened so red
To have hot cocoa
And to endure the hugs
Of loved ones

So many people believe that fall and winter is such a terrible time of year. They believe that everything around them is dying. For me that is not true. It is just a form of the world creating life. Weather it's the trees, or plants. That is why winter is such a wonderful time of year for me. Thank you so much Baby (Amander) for brightening my winter...Not just last winter or this winter, but for all the winters we'll spend together.
